The Lion and the Lamb

A few short lines of a poem occured to me this morning in the silence of my room as I was getting ready.


He came first like a lamb - humble and meek
His strength in surrender, though they saw it as weak.

He will return like a lion - mighty and strong
Righteous His roar, and justice His song.
